Subluxation is the result of abnormal separation or misalignment of the vertebrae or spinal joints, which affects the nerve communication between the brain and the body. It a very common condition and usually occurs in women and adults aged 40 or older.
Subluxation occurs at any age and some of the causes are physical, toxins and stress. Subluxation can be caused by trauma due to physical impact and this can occur while playing sports or while sleeping in a bad position. ACR wants to be perfectly clear when scheduling an appointment that we does not diagnose or treat any disease processes and will only accept you as a patient for bio mechanical conditions of the spine and/or extremities. Dr. Johnson and Dr. Wendt are Chiropractors, not medical doctors, and provide chiropractic adjustments only to their patients without the use of other therapeutic modalities.
